Keep up the fight

Last night the Rays played the Mariners in Seattle and had Big Game James on the mound who has been hot lastly.  He had an amazing first inning but soon fell apart in the second allowing a lead off home run.  Things did not get much better as he allowed four home runs in four innings.  Needless to say, Shields got his a$$ handed to him and that is how I often feel while creating this website.  When I feel like I am on a roll, all of a sudden the computer hits a three run home run against me and takes the lead.  But just like the Rays, I fight back and hopefully win.  We will see once this class is over who the winner is.  Right now I say the computer has a 5-3 lead in the bottom of the fifth.

Isn’t that the truth. Computers are always fighting against you but I know you are a strong woman and will come out on top of it regardless and get that grandslam.

  2. Now that’s what I call integrating something you love into the required topic of our blogs. New challenge: relate the process of reverse osmosis to web publishing.

I was wondering when and how you were going to get in a post about the Rays, yet stick to the guideline that our posts had to be about web design. Well done.

I completely agree with you. I would even say that when I finally load up my web page, and the link I’ve been trying to get to work for the last 45 minutes finally acts as I want it to, the feeling of excitement that provides mimics that of a Rays player hitting a home run.

Eh, I’d say you were in the lead. New score: Kyra 5, Dreamweaver 1. Hopefully that sounds appropriately sporty because I know nothing about scoring, hehe.

From what I see so far on your blog, I’d say your batting average is at 350 and climbing fast. Dig in at the plate and watch out for curves from code. But, if you know one is coming … you can adjust your approach appropriately. Success is having a good foundation, whether you’re at the plate or the keyboard. The count is in your favor, keep going! And, if you get in a pickle … you have plenty of colleagues who can help you score.
